Masterplan
Unique Design

Our vision aimed to create a design that would both stand out in terms of modern design as well as fit into the current architecture of Newham. We believe that the development of the Mills, the Silo and the new multiplex meet this criteria. The range of shops, residential areas and job opportunities are evidence of this.
Connectivity

With the current transport links such as the tube as well as the Emirates Airline mean the area is already relatively well connected to London as a whole. We targeted the lack of bike paths and pedestrian movement in our development. The new bridge in the centre of the site removes this issue. In addition the new green area increases pedestrian movement.
Mixed Use

Our development offers a large range of mixed use to achieve our vision. There are a large variation of houses in flats with the terrace housing as well as the Mills development. In addition to this, there is is a range of opportunities in the retail section of the site with the multiplex as well as the units, gym and bars.
Leisure
The bar, gym and multiplex will offer huge opportunities for leisure in Newham. Not only will this activate the water fronts of the section of the Thames in the site, but it will also boost the income for nearby activities such as the artificial beach on the west side of the area, just outside the site boundary.

Green and Blue Infrastructure
Lastly, leading on from the leisure, our new green and blue areas on the site will significantly boost the attractiveness of the area therefore boosting get economy of the site. This will also achieve our vision of making it an area in which people can be proud of.
Diverse Cultural Hub
Leading on from the idea of mixed use, the range of amenities in the area will create a theory of a diverse and thriving cultural hub. This reaches our vision as it allows for the diverse set of people in Newham to be heavily involved with the development.
