Project Phasing

Phase 1
 

Our first priority would be the Mills development as well as the housing on the South side of the site due to the housing crisis in Newham. We believe the housing of people should take a significance over the leisure section of the site. This means the west side of the development (such as the Mills, terrace housing, Silo D and the Green area) would be the first to be completed. Not only would this increase the housing in the area, it would also create jobs for those who live there as well as implement the new green areas into the site. This would also allow for a relatively quick turn around on revenue of this site since the houses will generate a significant amount.

Phase 2
 

After the residential development is finished, the attention of the site should be focused on the east side of the site, specifically the multiplex along with the parking. The multiplex, as shown in the figure, will boast a range of shops creating employment in Newham both old residents and new. After this, there will be a focus on finishing up and section that have been missed and the final touching up of the green areas in the site in order to reach a close enough level of carbon neutrality.
