Relation to the vision
In terms of the vision, the south side development exhibits ideas of safety as well as community involvement. The aspect of safety is shown in both the street being well it as well as a divide between public and private land. Below shows the extensive street lamps as well as the small private gardens that's the development consists of. Additionally the view onto the green network allows for a sense of community whereby all residents can commune.

Furthermore, the community land trust allows for people to have a say in what they want their development to consist of which directly coincides with the vision. With the silo being directly opposite the development, this further enhances the idea of community involvement which was vital for our development.

Lastly, the surplus of housing in the development will take a huge chunk out of the waiting list for housing in Newham which follows ideals for the London Plan. It was clear whilst completing desk research on the borough that it was vital to try to combat any housing issues currently being faced in order to make the area more attractive
